Dr Amelia Stephens
Dr Amelia Stephens is a General Practitioner (GP) in Paddington, Brisbane
She has special interests in Women's Health and Integrative Medicine.
That said, she enjoys all areas of supporting people in family/general practice medicine.
QUALIFICATIONS BSc MBBS FRACGP
Dr Amelia completed her Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with majors in Biomedical Science and Physiology in 2007 at the University of Queensland followed by her medical degree (MBBS) in 2011.
Amelia completed her specialist General Practice training in 2016, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She is fully registered with AHPRA.
To further her interest in integrative medicine, Dr Amelia has completed the Primary Foundational Modules of training with the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine in 2019 and is working towards fellowship qualification with them also.
ENGAGEMENT
Dr Amelia enjoys getting involved with her GP colleagues to support their activity and role politically and within the community. She sat on the QLD Faculty Council for the RACGP (Royal Australian College of General Practitioners) from 2017-2021 and currently supports on the QLD Education Committee.
An avid presenter, Amelia also enjoys speaking and providing perspective on panels and community events. Get in touch if you'd like her to present at your event.
